Appointments
With regard to scheduling and appointments, we value your time and pride ourselves on the efficiency of our office. We have flexible office hours that allow you to make convenient appointments. We are able to schedule most adjustments before or after school hours, because we understand the importance of regular attendance. Longer appointments, while infrequent, are usually scheduled during school hours so as to allow us to be more efficient during non-school hours. We hope that you will never experience a dental emergency, but if you do, we want you to know that we are always available. If a true orthodontic emergency occurs after hours, we can be reached 24 hours a day – simply contact us through our office phone number.
Procedures and Services
Dr. Bernhardt and Dr. Smith will personally explain all recommended procedures and will keep you fully informed about every aspect of your treatment. After gathering important information, which may include models, x-rays, and facial photographs, we can best determine your treatment plan.
Treatment time for braces will differ depending on the difficulty in achieving an ideal result. This will be discussed at your initial appointment. During treatment, you should see your general dentist regularly for routine care. Our staff will also teach you how to take care of your teeth, gums, and braces to help you maintain good dental health.

Throughout the day, we continuously and thoroughly sterilize our equipment for your protection and adhere to every standard of infection control set by the Center for Disease Control and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Your comfort is also a top priority. We strive to make our office a relaxing and pleasant environment. In addition, we communicate with you every step of the way.
